Ministry Readiness
Serving in ministry is a key component to the progress of the church and the Kingdom. Yielding your gifts, time, and tenth is the greatest way to serve. Now that you have a better understanding of what God’s purpose is for your life, you are ready to begin living a more fulfilled life: personally, professionally, and spiritually. (Colossians 1:10)
There is work to be done at GICM and God has equipped you with the tools to make the difference. True ministry happens when we use our gifts in the right areas and work together on one accord. (1 Corinthians 1:10) Understanding where and how you can serve is the next step in your spiritual maturity. Selecting the appropriate ministry to serve on is just as important as selecting the right career path. If you are unsure about where to serve, feel free to speak with one of the New Shareholder team members to assist you with identifying the suitable area of ministry.
In preparing to serve, remember the Great Commandment: “(19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Holy Ghost: (20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. “(Matthew 28:19-20)
